Dr. Ursula Hammes, President, is a leading expert in characterization of shale gas/oil basins and a consultant and lecturer to academia and oil companies worldwide. Although, her current focus is on shale oil/gas basins, her background is rooted in carbonate and clastic sequence stratigraphy and sedimentology. Dr. Hammes has worked in industry and academia and has consulted for international and domestic oil companies ranging from carbonate and siliciclastic reservoir characterization, modeling of carbonate and shale basins, to prospect evaluation.
